Rules of the Game Epoch of Shadows.


Table of penalties for violations of the rules:

These penalties have allocated numbers to fit the descriptions;

2.1 Ban for the period of 1 day (24 Hours) - Insulting players- Offending players is allowed on the forums and in private but it prohibited in the general chat channels (General and World chat)

2.1.1 Ban a period of 30 days (1 Month Ban) - Insulting relatives, or love ones of any player in a negative way is strictly prohibited

2.2 Ban for the period from 1 day - Math in the common channel. Using a hidden mate and reduced abuse in the general chat channel games (buckled translation, but i think this basically means swearing/insults are prohibited in general and world chat, keep your rage private)

2.3 Removal of Character - Creating characters with names containing profanity, racist or obscene language

2.4 Removal of Character - Use of chaotic set of characters or numbers in character names, the name must be properly read. (for example Ilijiliji-ij)

2.5 Removal of Character - Deliberate imitation/impersonation of nicknames of Administration and Game Masters

2.6 1 day ban - Flood/Spamming (intentional repetition of the same phrase in a unit time of 1 minute in private, casual or world chat).
Note: This also applies to '')))))''

2.7 Ban for a period of 7 days (1 Week) - Use of macro is allowed while physically being in front of your computer, however using Macros (programs of cyclical action) in conjunction with AFK (Away From Keyboard) is prohibited and will result in a ban.
*READ* On the Island of Spirits AFK is allowed but only within in the village walls (fishing).

2.8 Blocking IP + delete all characters - Any attempt to crack passwords and impersonate Nicknames to access account information will be severely monitored. *The administration of the game will never ask you for your password in private or post*

2.9 Ban for the period 30 days (1 Month ban) - Blocking transitions of any GM/Admin characters from his location to your location is a 1 month penalty

2.10 Removing all game characters . IP Blocking for 30 days - Using bugs or (Bug Use) is not allowed *for example; Monsters blocked by map errors*

If you find a bug in the game, please inform the SW Team. This will eliminate the chance of receiving a ban yourself for not reporting it once discovered by admin or other and to maintain a stable operating server - Note that bug abuse is followed by immediate punishment.

HOWEVER: In many cases we can not be sure that you really did have this item/skill/character, so administration does not guarantee that loss is restored but will likely be reviewed.
It should be understood as you play at your own risk. That is, with the physical server hangs, lags, etc It is not the responsibility of the administration to replace anything lost due to jumpy latency from a pressured server

4. Players whom play the game simply to irritate others may be subject to sanctions by the SW Team. The severity of sanctions depends on the validity of complaints, and will be determined SW Team with each case dealt with separately.

5. PK (Player Killing or PvP) is the combat MUD. PK is an integral part of gameplay. PK is allowed wherever this is possible in software which will be indicated with a skull in the top right of your screen.

6. Ban for a period of 14 days (2 Weeks) - Any mention of other online games or content is prohibited in general/world chat

7. Ban for 60 days - Leveling a character with two different players (?)

7.1. Ban 30 days - Sale of character to another person without an agreement with the administration

7.2. Ban of 7 days - It is forbidden to play with 2 or more characters from one Ip address

8. Delete Character - Using Speed Gear (fps enhancing software)

8.1 Removal of character - Using 3rd Party programs to enhance pvp, leveling, or to edit and simplify the game is prohibited to keep a level playing field.

9. Players threatening others with outside of game with physical harm will be instantly deleted

10. Although being yours in game; Items, Gold, Services and Characters are the property of the Game Owner and can not be sold or traded for Real Life Money

11. Any suspicious or improper spells in game can be removed without warning by administration


*For repeated violation of the rules, the sentence is increased by 2* (7 days becomes 2 weeks)

~GUILDS~

All those who are in guilds are responsible for the label they carry;
If there is repeated violation of any rules, the penalty will be dealt to the entire guild depending on the severity of the situation.



You MUST follow these rules, and in no way disturb them.
If you ignore them, your character will be removed from the game and the time you spent on the game will go in vain! DO NOT RISK IT!

Just wanted to provide clear rules for players due to on-line translators not being very accurate

Regarding 7.2, in situations where family/friends play together (for example my brother and I)
using the same 4g internet USB for game access at once (possibly sharing the same IP?) from wireless connection, is it allowed to hunt/train on separate laptops, as individuals?

Or can my brother simply not play from his computer at all?
Its strange if he must he purchase completely new internet for the same location for the small time he is in my state visiting?
